Is Dubya using the space program to retaliate at Tony Blair further? It's no secret that relations between the two have been poor lately, but Scotsman.com thinks the announcement of new Moon and Mars missions were intended to belittle the thus-far failed Beagle British Mars probe. Perhaps it's just bitter frustration across the Pond; perhaps it is an intentional move by Bush. The announcement was rumored several weeks ago, but didn't happen. Now, on the heels of the successful NASA landing, he puts it out there. Odd timing, at least.
